The Park Society is pleased to report that Governor Tim Pawlenty will sign a bill authorizing the state of Minnesota to purchase the Lake Vermilion parcel for the establishment of Lake Vermilion State Park. Thank you for the support of the public in urging our elected officials to conserve this wilderness for future generations!
In the coming weeks the era of the “Park Society” will come to a close as our mission was successful.
